During the last decade, TV has become obsolete. Due to the Internet, it is possible nowadays to see whatever and whenever we want. Instead of waiting for a scheduled TV program, we can access it at any time with a click of the mouse. Because mobile devices have become more advanced and they can support mostly any kind of media, the latest trend is to have it all on the go. A YouTube video can be copied on a mobile phone, but this requires a conversion process first. With YouTube Robot, you can download multiple videos from YouTube or other similar web sites and convert them, using a very wide range of video or audio formats.

While downloading or converting a video, a small progress bar will be displayed next to its entry in the list. YouTube Robot will automatically detect your system's performance and adjust accordingly, so you can convert the videos with the best ripping speed.

The format of a video can be selected beneath the URLs list. A small button will display a pop up menu where the formats themselves can be found in different categories, according to certain devices. A video can be converted for devices such as iPod, iPhone, Sony PSP, PS3, Nintendo Wii and DS, Xbox and more. Besides these formats, you can still opt for audio files, including MP3, WMA, WAV and standard or HD video files like Avi, XviD, DVD and more. A video can be viewed, even while it is being converted. Selecting it and clicking the Play button on the left edge of the interface will launch the video in the program's own player.

When you start the program for the first time, you will already find a large number of URLs, linking to online videos that are ready to be downloaded and converted. These can be filtered by video types (popular, most viewed, HD, etc.), categories (comedy, education, gaming, etc.) or by channel (RSS, popular or recent movies). The filters can be selected from menus which will pop up after clicking one of the buttons on the top edge of the interface. YoutTube Robot also makes it possible to schedule a task. Clicking one of the buttons on the top edge will bring up a list where you can add new events. These can be set to occur on a fixed date or on a daily basis at a specific hour. If you take your time to look around the interface, you will find other options as well, which will make downloading and converting videos a fast and comfortable task.

Pros:
YouTube Rocket lets you choose from a very broad range of output formats. It is easy to use and it will automatically adjust to your system's performance. This makes it ideal for downloading and converting batches of videos from YouTube or other similar web sites.

Cons:
The trial version will nag you with a pop up window each time you do something and it will add a watermark on the output video.
